Lauren Boebert shouted from the rooftops.
“Trump is my President!”
She posted it online, right after her ally got crushed in the polls. She probably hoped it would soothe the angry former commander in chief. It did not.
Trump wants to destroy her. Again.
According to Politico, Trump is looking for someone to challenge the Colorado Republican in her June primary. He knows the clock is ticking. The filing deadline for her district has passed. She runs unopposed, on paper.
That doesn’t mean he’s done trying.
“Anybody who can be that dumb deserves a Good Primary Fight!”
That’s how he put it on Truth Social. Before the Kentucky votes were even tallied.
Boebert has been digging this hole for months. She backed releasing the Epstein files. She objected to funding for war efforts. But the real offense? Campaigning for Thomas Massie.
Massie.
The guy Trump hates more than most.
Massie lost. Ed Gainey, Trump’s pick, won Tuesday’s primary in Kentucky. So Boebert went live on Facebook, posing with photos of her son at graduation. A wholesome caption followed. Talked about joy. Purpose. Gratitude. Jesus is Lord, she wrote. A pledge of fealty wrapped in a family milestone.
Did Trump care? No.
He sees her as traitorous. Not just stubborn.
She tried to play it cool after he lashed out earlier.
“I knew the risks… America First, America Always, MAGA. Onward,” she wrote on X.
She claimed she wasn’t mad. She wasn’t offended. Just doing what friends do.
That’s rarely how these things go.
The friendship seems colder than ever. 🥶
She stands unopposed in her district, technically safe. But the heat is rising. Trump doesn’t forgive easily. Especially when you back the guy he calls the “worst” Congressman.
Maybe she’ll get away with it. Maybe someone will step up just to prove a point.
